Tourist's bag snatched off bike
Police reported on Friday.
The bag-snatch happened at around 10.45 p.m. on Thursday, as the tourist was riding a livery cycle along South Road near Elbow Beach.
A youth rode up behind her and snatched her sports bag, containing $80.

Acting Magistrate the Wor. John Judge told Latham he would not tell the Police how to do their jobs. They should enforce the law equally for all, Mr. Judge said.

Eura Kyan Ible, 21, ran up a bill of $1,328.25 for overseas calls to Camden, New Jersey between February 28 and May 18 this year, said Police Insp. Peter Duffy, prosecuting.
Ible also accepted a $55 collect call from New Jersey on the same phone.
Ible made the calls on the telephone at the Auto Paint & Body Shop owned by Calvin Busby.
Acting Senior Magistrate the Wor. John Judge on Friday ordered Ible to pay the phone bill, and asked for a social inquiry report with a view to imposing a sentence of community service.
HIGH PRICE TO PAY FOR CORNS CURE CTS High price to pay for corns cure A 23-year-old Paget man was yesterday fined $100 after pleading guilty to stealing corn pads and corn ointment from a pharmacy.
Mark Collins, of Highwood Lane, put the packet of Dr. Scholl's corn pads and a tube of ointment in his pocket and walked out of the Phoenix Drug Store without paying, Police Insp. Peter Duffy, prosecuting, said.
The offence occurred on the afternoon of August 8. Collins was seen putting the items in his pocket and then leaving.
A security guard followed him and brought him back to wait for the Police.
"I never had any intention of taking them,'' said Collins in his defence. He added that he often put small things in his pocket so he could hold larger purchases, but that it was a habit he was rapidly breaking himself of.
SURPRISING SHARK SIGHTING SW Surprising shark sighting Swimmers and boat owners have been put on the alert after a fisherman claimed three sharks circled his boat in Harrington Sound.
The sharks -- two 6 feet long and the other 4 feet -- reportedly gobbled up fishbait before swimming away.
The incident occurred on Thursday night, off Palmetto Bay dock. Marine Police were alerted.
Sgt. Dale said staff from the Aquarium and Zoo had expressed surprise over the sighting.
