eight weeks after engineers closed a section of Palmetto Road.

The Ministry of Works and Engineering is carrying out work on the road to correct subsidence.

Up until yesterday one-way traffic has been allowed but a decision was taken the close a section of the road, between Dutton Avenue and the pulverisation plant.

It will be closed for between six and eight weeks while the subsidence is corrected and in the meantime traffic will be diverted.
