Chris Martin Anderson, of Privateer Lane, Warwick, pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to driving while disqualified by age and driving in a dangerous manner on April 6.

Police saw Anderson riding a Yamaha motorcycle on Dutton Avenue, Pembroke shortly after 9 a.m., said prosecutor, Sgt. Kenrick James.

They suspected he was not old enough to drive and went after him.

Anderson drove recklessly along Dutton Avenue until Police caught up with him at the junction of the avenue and Angle Street, Sgt. James said.

"At that time there was heavy traffic in the area near Dellwood Primary School and young children about the street,'' he added.

Anderson, who had nothing to say in court, was fined $200 and taken off the road for a year for riding a motorcycle and he was fined $300 and banned from riding for a year for riding in a dangerous manner.

"That's a total of $500 or 50 days in prison,'' Senior Magistrate the Wor.

Will Francis said. "I'll give you until the end of June to pay it, but remember shortly after that if it is not paid, you will see a Police officer come to you with a warrant.''
