The 64-year-old was walking along Pitts Bay Road at about 10.30 p.m. on Saturday when someone snatched her shoulder bag as she and her friend turned into Rosemont Avenue.

The bag contained a small amount of cash, credit cards and personal items.

Two teenagers were injured in a Front Street accident on Friday.

The 16-year-old driver and the 17-year-old pillion passenger were injured after a car and a taxi stopped to allow a Subaru to come out of a car park.

The cycle was travelling outside the vehicles when it was in collision with the Subaru.
