serious road traffic accident which has left a teenager in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The accident occurred on South Road, Paget, near the Coral Beach Club last Saturday.

Around 11 p.m. a 16-year old was riding her Honda Scoopy in an easterly direction when she collided with a Peugeot SV80 that was travelling in the opposite direction.

She sustained serious head injuries and was detained in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital.

The other rider, a 23-year-old Paget man, suffered head and facial injuries.

But he has since been released from the hospital.
