her in the street. Now Police have warned the public to beware the sex prowler.

The woman, who has not been named, was walking along Harrington Hundreds Road, Smiths, on Friday morning when the incident happened.

A dark skinned male approached the woman and, after asking the time, is alleged to have grabbed her and put his hands down her trousers.

He then threatened the victim, who managed to struggle free and escape to a nearby house. The man left the scene and Police were called.

A Police spokesman appealed for witnesses to the incident which happened at 7.30 a.m.

The attacker was 5ft 6in, of medium build, and had a rounded face. He appeared to have a bandage covering his left hand and spoke with a low Bermudian accent.
