One witness who arrived on the scene shortly after the 8.30 p.m. crash said the woman was in collision with another motorcycle as she was driving her red Honda Scoopy around the roundabout at the Par-la-Ville Road-Woodlands Road junction.

The witness said he thought the woman, who was taken away in an ambulance, had suffered injuries to her lower back.

The driver of the other cycle, who appeared uninjured, was questioned on the scene by Police.
