WARWICK MAN BANNED FROM DRIVING CTS Warwick man banned from driving A Warwick man was fined $1,000 and disqualified from driving all vehicles for 12 months after he pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Pervin Anthony Buultjens, 22, of Hill View Road, was seen driving erratically at 3.55 a.m. on July 7 by a Police patrol parked on Trimingham Hill.

The officers followed him in a southerly direction and watched as he almost hit the sidewalk on a number of occasions and crossed the central yellow line.

Police stopped Buultjens and a breath test showed he had 177 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.

DRUNK WAS DRIVING DANGEROUSLY CTS Drunk was driving dangerously A Warwick man was fined $1,600 and disqualified from driving all vehicles for a year after he admitted driving under the influence of alcohol and in a dangerous manner.

Adam Clements Laing, 18, of Greendale Lane, was seen by a Police patrol travelling east along Front Street in a dangerous manner on June 23 at 2.10 a.m.

Officers pursued him along Front Street at speeds in excess of 100 kilometres per hour and activated their emergency lights and siren in a failed bid to get him to stop.

On Crow Lane, Laing collided with a taxi which was pulling to the side of the road in response to the siren.

Laing said he had been drinking and a breath test showed him to have 246 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

LASHING OUT COSTS EMPLOYEE $540 CTS Lashing out costs employee $540 A Pembroke man was fined $300 and told to pay $240 in compensation to Burrows Lightbourn after he smashed one of its truck's windscreens with a bottle he threw while employed by the company.

Antoine Thompson, 28, of St. Monica's Mission Road, admitted throwing the Elephant beer bottle at the truck on May 2 at St. Monica's Mission Road.

While in custody, Thompson told Police he threw the bottle as the men in the truck had sprayed water on him at work.

He is no longer employed by Burrows Lightbourn.
