400 people who are registered to vote in the St. George's South United Bermuda Party primary.

The constituency, which includes Tucker's Town and areas of Wellington and Ferry Reach, has been a United Bermuda Party stronghold since the first election in 1968.

Incumbent Mrs. Grace Bell has held her seat there since 1985, and Mr. Sidney Stallard, who will not run in the next election, has represented St. George's South since 1976.

His seat is up for grabs tonight by lawyer and former Chamber of Commerce chairman Mr. Richard Spurling and former Police inspector and president of the Bermuda Taxi Owners Union Mr. Custerfield Crockwell.

Both men have roots in the constituency. Polls will be open between 4 and 8 p.m.
