window causing almost $950 worth of damage must wait three weeks to receive his sentence.

A social inquiry report was ordered in Magistrates' court this week for Roger Brangman of Laurel Lane who pleaded guilty to wilfully damaging a motor vehicle belonging to the Bermuda Government.

The 19-year-old was detained at the Somerset Police Station on January 15 under the Misuse of Drugs Act, but no drugs or paraphernalia were found on him.

After his release, Brangman was observed picking up a concrete block, throwing it through the driver's side window of an unoccupied Police car and running off.

Damage was so extensive to the door of the vehicle, it had to be replaced.

Four days later, he was returned to the station for questioning about the incident. When asked why he damaged the vehicle Brangman replied: "I was vexed. Those guys locked me up for nothing.''
