Survey form.

The deadline for the returns is September 29.

And Government's Statistics Department has urged employers who have not returned the forms to do so "as soon as possible''.

The survey, formerly called the Manpower Survey, for the first time included a question on employees' race. This was expected to cause some controversy.

But the Bermuda Employers Council and major employers such as the banks said they have experienced no problems.

Chief statistician Ms Janet Smith said the survey provided information on Bermuda's workforce that was vital for planning employment and development needs in Government and the private sector.

Those needing assistance with completing the survey forms should call the Statistics Department on 297-7831 or 297-7761.
