Award winners congratulated

The Hon. Sir John Sharpe, Mrs. Lois Browne Evans, Mr. Arnold Francis and Mr.
Hugh Richardson were all praised.
Members sent condolences to the family of Mr. Herbie Williams, a founding member of the Bermuda Zoological Society, who died recently.
And sympathy was also sent to Mr. Albert Van Lowe's family. Mr. Van Lowe was well known for his work with the boy scouts and St. John Ambulance.
He was sextant at Christ Church, in Warwick, from the age of 16 into his 80s.
Mr. Alexander Douglas, a taxi driver, who died last month, was remembered by members. Mr. Douglas was described by NLP leader Mr. Gilbert Darrell as an ambassador for Bermuda.
Condolences were also sent to the families of hotel operator Mrs. Doris Leseur, Government official Mr. Gladstone Riley, travel agent Mr. George McDonald Smith, baker Mr. Ivan Dean and TCB official Mr Bob Spearshot.
Finance Minister the Hon. David Saul sent congratulations to Keep Bermuda Beautiful for their clean-up.
