Bermuda college burgled
reported yesterday.
Police spokesman Sgt. John Dale said a search was made of filing cabinets and desks at the College's Technology and Commerce section on Roberts Avenue sometime on Saturday. Nothing was reported stolen.
But thieves who hit a Sandys Parish business and homes throughout the Island were more successful.
A 19-inch colour television was reported stolen from a business on Somerset Road last Friday.
Cash totaling $250 was taken from the top of a dresser at a house on Wellington Slip Road in St. George's on Sunday, while $21 was stolen from a purse at a Brimstone Hill, Devonshire the same day.
On Saturday, a home on Scott's Hill Road in Sandys Parish was broken into and $196 was stolen. $20 was also taken from a wallet at a home on Hastings Lane in Pembroke that day.
A total of $200 was reported stolen from a house on Verdmont Road in Smith's Parish on Friday. And a "Quasar'' video cassette recorder was also reported stolen from a home at Emily's Bay Road in St. David's the same day.
