The magazine, which focuses on the entertainment industry, discussed Nova's first single "Oyster'' from her album Glow Stars, and described her singing voice as being "beautiful, delicate and powerful.'' It went on to say: "It's easy to compare her first full-length US release to the work of similarly ethereal singers Tori Amos and Sarah McLachlan but Nova's material is more lyrical and more rock-centred.'' Daughter of John and Gill Frith, Ms Nova, 27, was born and raised in Bermuda.

And at 19, she moved to Rhode Island where she began writing and recording songs.

"Oyster'', is currently blasting over European television, courtesy of the music station and began airing on MTV in the United States last month.
