The 17-year-old victim told Police that he was walking along Cedar Park Road around 8.30 p.m. when he passed a group of boys who asked him for a cigarette and a dollar.

When he told the boys he did not have either, one of them allegedly slapped him on the back of the head, punched him in the face, and kicked him.

The assailant then accused the victim of breaking his watch during the ordeal and took the victim's watch.

The victim suffered bruises, bumps and redness under one eye.
