Louise Bradley, spokesperson for the Trust said: "Whether your passion is the environment, plants, tennis, music, walking, auctions and jumble sales or you're just looking for something to do at half term, there is something for you coming up.'' Thursday February 17: Spittal Pond Children's Walk. This annual event is organised in conjunction with the Parks Department and is a must for children on half term at this time. Groups leave every 15 minutes from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Parking in the Eastern Parking lot and behind Harrington Hundreds.
Refreshments will be provided at the end of the walk. Points of interest covered include the Pond, special bird watching sites, Spanish Rock and Jeffrey's Hole.
Saturday February 19: Plant and bake sale at Waterville, Pomander Road, Paget -- 8.30 a.m. until noon.
The public are invited to go to Waterville in Paget and find the Trust's usual variety of hard-to-find plants and its famous busy-lizzie baskets. Some of Bermuda's finest bakers will have their goodies on sale. Proceeds go toward the Trust.
Saturday, February 26: Eden Project Environmental Trade Show at Number One Shed, Hamilton.
Visit the Bermuda National Trust booth at The Eden Project, an environmental exhibition to be held on Saturday, February 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Number One Shed in Hamilton.
Auction 2000: Jack King Building & Slat House, Botanical Gardens.
Receiving Days for Auction and Jumble: Monday, March 6 8 a.m.-8 p.m.; Tuesday, March 7 8.30 a.m.-noon.
Jumble Sale and Auction Preview: Thursday, March 9 8.30 a.m.-6.30 p.m.; Friday, March 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Saturday, March 11 Auction starts 10 a.m. with Grand Raffle Draw 2 p.m.
Calcutta Tennis Tournament at the Coral Beach & Tennis Club: Thursday, March 16 -- Cocktails & auctioning of teams.
Friday, March 17 -- Ladies Doubles. Saturday, March 18 -- Mixed Doubles.
Sunday March 19 -- Men's Doubles, Finals, cocktails and prize giving. All players' names are drawn out of a hat, with A players playing C players etc.
Sunday, April 16: Palm Sunday Walk 2 p.m.
