Gannon, 29, of Rosemont Avenue, Pembroke, was stopped by Police on Trimingham Road in Paget on October 4, Sgt. Roger Osborne, prosecuting, told Magistrates' Court.

Tests showed he had 198 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.

The new drink-drive limit, from October 30, is 80 milligrams of alcohol.

MOTHER `VIOLENT AND DRUNK' CTS Mother `violent and drunk' A Pembroke mother-of-four was given a six months conditional discharge yesterday after admitting committing a breach of the peace.

Sgt. Rex Osborne, prosecuting, told Magistrates' Court that 23-year-old Norressa Burrows of Vaucrosson's Crescent, was violent and drunk when Police were called to deal with a domestic dispute last week.

Miss Elizabeth Christopher, defending, said Burrows was angry because she was being prevented from seeing her one-month-old child by the father.
