a road traffic accident on Soundview Road in Sandys on Saturday afternoon.

Police report the child was riding a pedal cycle shortly before 3 p.m. when he was involved in a collision with a car travelling north on Soundview Road.

The boy suffered head injuries and was unconscious at the scene of the accident before being taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

Last night he was listed in stable condition in the hospital's Intensive Care Unit.
