The drugs would net close to a million dollars on the street in Bermuda if converted to `crack' cocaine, but Canadian Police have estimated its worth on their streets as Canada $600,000.

Rawlins, 36, was detained by Canadian customs officers on May 20 at Toronto's Pearson International airport as he tried to board a flight to Bermuda.

According to Canadian authorities two kilos of cocaine were found in a compartment of Rawlins' luggage while another kilo was discovered taped to his body.

Rawlins has been charged by Canadian authorities with importing a controlled substance and is being held in a detention centre.

While not a very well known coach, he is licensed by the Bermuda Football Association and has coached both women's soccer and men's basketball.
