after a road traffic accident left him with a serious leg injury and possible head injuries.

Police said the accident occurred around 4 p.m. yesterday on Middle Road in Paget near Manse Road.

It is believed a Peugeot scooter travelling west was overtaking a Mack truck when it collided with a white Nissan car.

The cyclist was thrown from the bike and sustained serious injuries, but the female driver of the car was not injured.
