Supermarket on Middle Road is still in hospital in a stable condition.

The 29-year-old sustained serious injuries but is now on a general ward.

Police believe he was in the westbound carriageway and collided with a car which was traveling east and in the process of turning right at the entrance.

The accident occurred just before 1 p.m. and only involved the two vehicles, which were extensively damaged.
