of unsafe conditions never lodged a complaint with senior officials, Works Minister the Hon. Clarence Terceira said yesterday.

The Minister's statement contradicts an assertion on Monday by explosives expert Mr. Chris Chellnor, whose contract with Works and Engineering was cancelled after six years employment.

"He never complained about health or safety concerns,'' the Minister said after investigating Mr. Chellnor's complaints. "He never complained to any officers of health and safety.'' Dr. Terceira said supervisors at the incinerator site have been quick to incorporate any suggestions to improve health and safety conditions.

"We've people on the site all the time keeping a close watch on things,'' he said.
