Shawn P. MacMullen, 28, of Privateer Lane, pleaded guilty to the charge.

Prosecuting, Sgt. Donald Grant said that on May 7 at 2.55 a.m. Police saw MacMullen riding an auxiliary cycle in an erratic manner on South Shore Road, Paget.

"MacMullen struck a footpath and swerved along the road before officers stopped him,'' Sgt. Grant said.

A breathalyser test showed that he had 159 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis disqualified MacMullen from all vehicles for 12 months.
