importing cocaine was sworn in yesterday.
The nine-man, three-woman jury will decide the fate of Calgary woman Paula Madill who pleaded not guilty to possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply.
She also denies conspiring to import cocaine from a date unknown to June 28, 1999, along with Wayne Maximchuk and others not before the court.
Maximchuk, also from Calgary, was jailed for seven and a half years on January 4 after pleading guilty to importing $150,000 worth of cocaine.
