Tyrone Calvin Simmons, 27 and Shadonna Kelly Trott, 20, both of Cottage Hill Road are charged with importing heroin in March of 1998. Lawyer Delroy Duncan, representing Trott and Victoria Pearman, representing Simmons have both challenged the constitutionality of certain sections of the Misuse of Drugs Act. A panel from which the jury was to be selected waited all morning to see if they would be chosen, but were dismissed by Justice Charles Etta-Simmons to return this morning.
