Mr. Zuill denied allegations of publishing information that could have led to the identity of a defendant on September 15 of last year.

According to Bermuda law it is illegal to publish information that would lead to the identification of victims of sexual assault.

Crown Counsel Shade Subair officially charged Mr. Zuill with "after a person arrested and charged with a sexual offence, did by written publication, namely The Royal Gazette , publish information likely to lead members of the public to identify that person''.

Acting Senior Magistrate Edward King adjourned the case for trial in early July.

Mr. Zuill was represented by lawyer Ann Cartwright.
