The Bermuda Weather Service said that at 6 p.m. yesterday. Edouard was at latitude 13.9 degrees north, longitude 40.7 degrees west and was moving west at 13 knots. Maximum sustained winds were 65 knots gusting to 80. The fifth named storm of the year was expected to continue west and become a hurricane by early today.
