A Police spokesman said Police found several people trying to extinguish a fire which had spread from a pile of broken wood to some trees at Whitegate Lane, in Sandys Parish around 4.30 p.m. on Sunday. The wood pile was located next to a building that was under construction and as a result of the fire the building received some damage to one side.
