it reported to Harbour Radio that it was taking on water near North Rock.
A Harbour Radio spokesman said the station received a call at 3.40 p.m. from the Rose Lee which had four people on board and was between the North Channel and North Rock.
The spokesman said the caller reported the vessel was taking on water and was experiencing engine trouble so Marine Police -- who were near Dockyard -- were contacted.
They found the vessel and began towing it back to shore during which time the engine was restarted and the vessel made its way back to Coney Island under its own power while Police monitored its progress.
