A Yamaha motorcycle was travelling east on Palmetto Road at about 11 p.m. on Tuesday when a car travelling north on Roberts Avenue crossed the junction and collided with the bike, a Police spokesman said yesterday.

The rider suffered leg injuries and the car failed to stop. A description of the car was not available.

Police would particularly like to speak to a woman driving a white car who is believed to have stopped and helped the cyclist. Police believe she was driving in front of the bike before the accident.
