troubled Somerset Bridge Hotel.

The hotel, owned by Deputy Opposition leader Mr. Walter Roberts, was placed in receivership earlier this year for non-payment of banking debts.

One of the writs was taken out by a fellow MP of Mr. Roberts, National Liberal Party leader Mr. Gilbert Darrell.

Mr. Darrell's store equipment firm is suing for $18,347.77.

And the Bermuda Electric Light Company has taken out a writ claiming the hotel owes it $8,061.44 in unpaid electricity bills.

A buyer for the 24-room hotel has been sought since January.

But receivers Kempe and Whittle said yesterday that the hotel had still not been sold.
