Barbara Roberts, 59, and her 71-year-old husband William Roberts appeared briefly before Chief Justice Austin Ward during the monthly arraignment session yesterday.

Both are charged with being concerned with others not before the court of possessing cocaine valued at $1.5 million intended for supply.

They are also alleged to have knowingly handled cocaine intended for supply and possession of 36 plastic bags, kitchen scales and a knife in connection with a controlled drug.

The couple, of West Side Road, Sandys Parish, were represented by lawyer Richard Hector. Their bail was extended.
