Gary Simons, of Saltus Cavendish Road, admitted that he was the owner of a brass knuckle device and a switchblade flicker knife found by Police. Sgt.

Wilbert McLean, prosecuting, said that Simons was seen by Police driving his auxiliary cycle along Saltus Cavendish Road at 2.30 a.m.

The officers saw him throw something away and searched him for drugs. They then asked to search his house, which was located on the same road.

Sgt. McLean said no drugs were found by Police, but they discovered the weapons under Simons' bed.

Simons told Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis he did not know that the weapons were illegal.

COCAINE TRIAL CTS Cocaine trial Two men arrested for cocaine possession appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Leon St. Clair Smith, of Sandys, was charged with possessing and supplying cocaine with intent to supply and possessing equipment for the preparation of the drug.

Kenneth Douglas, 37, of Pembroke was arrested with 28-year-old Smith and charged with handling and possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis allowed Smith to be released on $10,000 bail and two like sureties. He also ordered that Smith surrender all his travel documents.

Mr. Francis posted Douglas' bail at $10,000 with one surety. Douglas was ordered to report to Hamilton Police Station and Smith was ordered to report to Somerset Police Station every Monday, Wednesday and Friday until their Supreme Court trial on July 29.

ONE TOO MANY CTS One too many A St. George's woman in Magistrates' Court was yesterday fined $350 and disqualified from driving all vehicles for one year.

Lynne Levesque, 33, of Anchorage View Lane pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol. Police prosecutor, Sgt. Wilbert McLean, said Levesque was driving her bike along Ferry Reach Road around midnight on June 26, and was not wearing a crash helmet. When Police stopped her, they noticed she was unsteady on her feet and her breath smelled of alcohol.

Levesque was arrested and taken to the Police station, where she refused to provide a breath test.
