Insp. Peter Duffy, prosecuting, said Police saw Ford swerving from side to side on his scooter as he rode east on Mullet Bay Road on April 29.
When they stopped him, Insp. Duffy said, they noticed that Ford's breath smelled of alcohol, his speech was slurred, and he was unsteady on his feet.
Ford refused to take the alco-analyser test.
