today over an alleged brush with the Kennedy dynasty.

Gould faces a string of charges after he allegedly tried to force Michael Kennedy's estranged wife, Victoria, to pull off a road for a photograph.

Yesterday Gould, now reporting for the New York-based tabloid The Star Magazine, said he denied all allegations.

Gould, 41, appears in a Norfolk court today. Last Wednesday he was arraigned in Hingham, also in Massachusetts, and denied several charges relating to the same incident. He was ordered to reappear on June 11. Authorities have been investigating claims Michael Kennedy, son of slain Sen. Robert Kennedy, had an affair with the family's baby sitter.

Since the allegations broke, photographers have been staking out the family home.

Police said Gould and a passenger began pursuing Mrs. Kennedy's car outside her Cohasset home. Her three children were in the back of the vehicle and her sister-in-law Rory Kennedy was also with her.

At one point, 39-year-old Mrs. Kennedy, who is seeking a divorce, reportedly stopped to seek help from two landscapers.

Gould's car bumped one of the men, who rolled onto the car's hood, and the other man jumped out of the way, Police claimed.

They added Mrs. Kennedy was almost in tears and frightened.

Gould is accused of using his car to assault Mrs. Kennedy, a sister-in-law and two other people who tried to help Mrs. Kennedy escape.

He is also charged with driving to endanger, speeding and failing to stop for a police officer.

A warrant had been issued for Gould's arrest after the alleged incident.

Gould, who is English, worked for The Royal Gazette in the 1980s and later for the magazine Bermuda Business.
