Webb, 27, is accused of using US Base personnel and their Base post office boxes to import cannabis and cocaine into Bermuda.

She denied conspiring with former serviceman Oswald Farrel to import cocaine and cannabis, importing the drugs, and possessing them with the intent to supply.

One package seized by narcotics officers contained 459 grams of cocaine which had an 82 percent purity and a street value of $145,750 and 863 grams of cannabis with a street value of $43,150 -- a total value of $188,900.

Government analyst Dr. Alan Young said the quantity of cocaine was enough for $1,166 half gram wraps.

Yesterday, Puisne Judge the Hon. Justice Ground gave a summation of the case.

Last week Oswald Farrel took the stand and told the court that he was prosecuted by the Navy and convicted of importing drugs into Bermuda. He served only six months for the charge after being granted immunity for testifying against Webb.

He also said that he was arrested at the Airport on September 24, 1993 after he was leaving on an early morning New York flight to take money for Webb for drugs.

Farrel added that on October 11, he received a package in his mail box on the Base which allegedly contained drugs for Webb.

After being confronted by Police and special Base agent Bratton, Farrel agreed to help them to "prevent drugs from coming into the Island''.

When the package arrived, Farrel said he was told by officers to deliver it to Webb at the St. Brendan's Hospital where she was employed as an accounts clerk.

"Once I got to the hospital, I told Charlene that the package was in the car and she told me to take it around to the other entrance. I handed the package to Charlene and the taxi took me down to the pharmacy where the officers told me to wait,'' Farrel said.

However, Webb denied ever knowing Farrel or receiving any package from him.

She also denied writing any of the letters, which talk about Base moves and operations, Police say they found in her house.

And she also said that she has never had anything to do with drugs, and has never accepted any drugs from anyone.
