The actions by clients of Hall & Associates stem from a raid on the Front Street firm in which Police seized files and computer discs.

In an earlier action, the Attorney General filed an appeal against a January decision by the Chief Justice to quash a search warrant Police used to raid the firm.

That decision was made at the end of a four-day Supreme Court hearing in which the law firm fought the legality of two search warrants obtained from a magistrate under the Drug Trafficking Suppression Act.

The individuals suing the Attorney General and the Police Commissioner were clients of Hall & Associates and were before the courts charged with offences.

Each of their writs cite the Bermuda Constitution. A source yesterday said the plaintiffs would refer to sections of the Constitution relating to their rights as individuals.

The individuals suing include Joanne Elizabeth Fubler, Vincent Roland Bridgewater, Curtis Denzel Simons, Tillman Donnahue Darrell, Scott O'Brien Morton, David Anthony Brangman, Esmile Isaac, Cordell Isaac, Ronald James Raynor and Vincent Basden Tuzo.
