Telecommunications Minister Renee Webb said: "People react with emotion but most Bermudians when they find out the details realise there's nothing sinister.

"And I think that is what you are seeing now. I just think people are making decisions based on information.

"There's nothing earth shattering about what we are doing. The Government is just trying to bring Bermuda in line with the rest of the world.''
