Olivia Hollis, who celebrates her second birthday today, won a map which is a vital part of Bermuda's history.

But, because Olivia's dad is United Bermuda Party Senator Wendell Hollis, the map has been passed on to the Government Archives -- where it should have been in the first place! Over the last year Sen. Hollis has entered several competitions under Olivia's name and won three prizes already -- a National Trust gold palmetto pin, a painting and a trip to Las Vegas. In the Masterworks Foundation raffle Olivia won the map, of Noncy Park, Pembroke, drawn by John Dale in 1892.

Mrs. Elise Outerbridge explained: "The map was donated by the Clark family through Jones Waddington.

"Archives Director John Adams came along and said that it belonged in the Archives' collection of maps. He offered us $750, but we could not take it because it was already a prize.

"We tried to get an alternative for a similar amount but luckily the winner was Sen. Hollis and he agreed to donate the prize to the Archives.'' Sen. Hollis said: "Our family has won very little in the past but since we have started using Olivia's name we have won four out of four draws.

"We decided to give this map to the Archives but I wonder what we are going to do when Olivia grows up. If she reads about this in the paper, will she start asking where the prizes are?''
