The victim told Police he was driving east on Church Street when two men on a motorcycle began using profanity against him. They gestured for him to stop his car and as he did so, began to smash the car with their helmets.

The men became involved in a scuffle and the cycle riders were joined by two other men in the attack on the victim and his girlfriend. The suspects later rode off.

Both victims declined medical attention, but the windshield of the car was completely shattered.

In another assault early on Saturday morning, a 26-year-old Hamilton Parish man was arrested after an incident at the Oasis Night Club on Front Street.

A 35-year-old Smith's man reported to Police he had been dancing when the suspect pushed past him. He was pushed again after speaking to the man, and the complainant was punched in the face a few times before the pair were separated.
