Benoit Mercier, 28, of the Ariel Sands staff quarters, pleaded guilty to driving while impaired.
Sgt. Anthony Mouchette, the Police prosecutor, told Magistrates' Court, that on August 26 this year Mercier was riding his auxiliary bike along Front Street.
Police saw him wobble and cross the centre line and when he was stopped Mercier was unsteady on his feet. A breath test showed he had 223 miligrammes of alcohol in 100 milllilitres of blood.
Mr. Francis fined Mercier $400 and banned him from driving all vehicles for 12 months.
