A story in yesterday's paper incorrectly stated that Dwayne Doars was involved in last Wednesday's Devonshire Liquors robbery. It should have stated Doars was allegedly involved in the incident.

One of the men involved in last Wednesday's Devonshire Liquors robbery was formally charged in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Dwayne Doars, 25, of North Shore, Devonshire, was charged with stealing $90 along with another man, not before the courts, from Devonshire Liquors on August 20.

Last Thursday The Royal Gazette reported store owner Mary Fox was rescued by her pet Rottweiler, Jenny, after two men entered the store and demanded money from the 61-year-old who owns the store with her husband.

Doars, who has also been charged with taking a Wheels Livery cycle between August 7 and 20 without the consent of the owner, was remanded in custody yesterday.

He will return to court on September 2 for mention.
