after denying that he assaulted Police officers and escaped custody.

Phillion Cassius Webb, 29, pleaded not guilty to 12 charges, including speeding, not giving his name and address, possessing three different offensive weapons, a bottle, a baseball bat and a knife, assaulting three Police officers and escaping custody.

The incident allegedly occurred on Sunday afternoon on North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish after Webb was stopped on suspicion of speeding at 72 kph.

A date was set for May 10 and Webb was released on $750 bail.
