Man denies serious sexual assault

A 33-year-old Pembroke man pleaded not guilty to two counts of unlawful carnal knowledge while another man, a 36-year-old, pleaded not guilty to a charge of serious sexual assault.

A 33-year-old Pembroke man pleaded not guilty to two counts of unlawful carnal knowledge while another man, a 36-year-old, pleaded not guilty to a charge of serious sexual assault.
Trial dates will be set on May 1. Both men were represented by Elizabeth Christopher.
Marvin Eugene Lambe, a 37-year-old Hamilton Parish man admitted to a charge of housebreaking. Two others -- Pembroke resident Tyrone Calvin Simmons, and Troy Eugene Trott of Hamilton Parish -- denied charges related to the incident of receiving stolen property.
Lambe also pleaded guilty to breaking into the Crawl Hill Esso gas station with intent to commit a felony in January this year.
The matters will be up for mention on May 1.
