for a 45-year-old man who exposed himself to two young girls.

Milton Eve, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to the offence.

Crown Counsel Ms Jo-Dina Pearman told the court the two girls, aged eight and nine, were swimming at John Smith's Bay shortly before 6.30 p.m. on July 8 when Eve approached them and started talking to them.

During the conversation, Ms Pearman said, Eve took his penis out of his shorts and showed it the girls.

One of the girls told her father about the incident. The father made a citizen's arrest and took Eve to the Hamilton Police station.

Eve was remanded in custody until August 21 when the report is due.
