Michael Burns Durrant, 31, of no fixed address no fixed abode was not asked to enter a plea, and was remanded in custody until his next appearance on July 27.
Durrant was charged with stealing $130 on June 30 from Mrs. Ann Powell, owner of the Rising Sun shop in Southampton.
He was also charged with breaking and entering the Friendship Vale School between May 22 and May 26 and stealing school files, an inflatable tub, a rating scale and three catalogues.
He was charged with burgling a home in Pembroke on May 30 with intent to steal, and breaking into Vernon Temple between March 4 and June 9 and stealing church foods valued at $5 as well as another theft and a traffic offence.
