offences linked to a vicious attack on two Police officers.

Ross Parsons, 26, of Devon Spring Road, pleaded guilty to wilfully and unlawfully breaking windows at the Rooster's Restaurant on Court Street on November 8, stealing soda, assaulting and causing bodily harm to P.c. John Clutterbuck, and having possession of an offensive weapon, a baseball bat.

However, Parsons denied that he violently resisted arrest and concerned with others not before the court caused bodily harm to P.c. Stephanie Thompson.

P.c. Thompson was knocked unconscious during the vicious attack which occurred around 3 a.m.

The two officers arrived at the Rooster's Restaurant and discovered that the building had been vandalised.

But when they attempted to arrest Parsons, a mob of more than 50 people gathered and attacked them.

Parsons, who was unrepresented, was remanded in custody pending a trial on December 2.
