off a Pitbull Terrier yesterday.

The man was walking his own dog in Mullet Bay Park at about 5.45 p.m. when the Pitbull apparently tried to attack the other animal. The man tried to defend his dog and suffered severe cuts.

He was taken to the King Edward VII Hospital, but was released after treatment. The Pitbull was taken to the Government compound by the Dog Warden and Police have spoken to its owner.
