23-year-old Devonshire man who admitted breaking into a house and stealing more than $1,000.
Darren Brangman, of Loyal Hill, pleaded guilty to entering the Cherry Hill, Pembroke home of Amon Brown on May 11 and stealing $1,325 and a bottle of Guinness stout.
Brangman got into the house through an unlocked sliding door sometime between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., Insp. Peter Duffy, prosecuting, said.
Police arrested him on June 4 as a result of information received.
Brangman initially said he entered the house, used the bathroom, and took the alcohol. But he later admitted stealing the money.
Brangman was last in court in February for stealing a livery cycle when he received a six-month suspended prison sentence for two years and a $500 fine.
