yesterday after he pleaded guilty to indecently assaulting two boys who were under the age of 14.

Neil O'Brien Trott had originally pleaded not guilty to the charges but changed his plea after Crown Counsel Mr. Khamisi Tokunbo finished his opening arguments in Supreme Court.

Mr. Tokunbo told the court that they could expect to hear that Trott had watched pornographic videos with the boys that featured naked men having oral and anal sex.

He said the court would also hear that Trott had oral sex with one of the boys and attempted it with the other.

Mr. Tokunbo said Trott had apologised in a Police statement for what he had done as he knew it was wrong. He added that Trott said he had done it anyway because the "urges hit him''.

Trott had also stopped the boys from visiting him after the incident occurred because he said he did not want it to be repeated.

Mr. Archibald Warner withdrew from the case as Trott's lawyer at the beginning of the trial after telling the court that he had not been fully instructed by his client.

Chief Justice Mr. Justice Ward told Trott before sentencing him that he took into account his plea of guilty as it had spared the boys "the agony of testifying''.

He said he would recommend that Trott receive psychiatric and psychological care but added that "young people must be protected from sexual assault''.
